Celebration

• Grand Parent’s Day was celebrated on 24 Oct 2009.

• Deepawali celebrations in the vidyalaya on 16 Oct 2009.

• Hindi Pakhwara was observed in the vidyalaya in Sep 2009 and various competitions in Hindi viz. Poetry recitation, declamation, doha recitaion etc. were conducted during the fortnight from 09 Sep 2009 to 23 Sep 2009.

• Ozone Day was celebrated on 15 Sep 2009 to mark the importance of life sustaining Ozone cover in the atmosphere.

• Teacher’s Day was celebrated on 05 Sep 2009 with zest and zeal in the school. Students of class XII shared their experiences as pupil teachers.

• Janamashtmi was celebrated on 15 Aug 2009.

• Independence Day was celebrated on 15-Aug-09. The national flag was unfurled followed by cultural programme. Sweets were distributed among the children.

• The Annual Day was celebrated on 25 April 2009. Air Cmde. SC Luthra, VSM AOC. 3BRD AFS Chandigarh was the chief guest. Prizes were distributed to the winners in CCA and academics.

• Science Day was celebrated on 28 Feb 2009 to commemorate the Nobel Prize won by eminent scientist Dr C V Raman on that day in 1928

• Republic Day was celebrated on 26 Jan 2009 with fervour. Mrs Bharti Sood, Offg Principal addressed the students and teachers on the importance of the occasion
