- Christmas celebrated in the school on 22 Dec 09 before the closure of school for Winter Break. Primary children dressed as Santa Claus gave away toffees and chocolates to students in the assembly.
- KVS Foundation Day celebrated on 15 Dec 2009. Inter-House Quiz competition was oragnised on the occasion.
- Activities were organized on world AIDS Day on 01 Dec 2009.
- School hosted in-service course for TGT(Drawing) organized by KVS, ZIET Chandigarh from 16 Nov – 06 Dec 2009. About 32 participants from Jaipur, Dehradun, Delhi, Chandigarh and Bhopal Regions attended.
- Hon’ble Commissioner KVS, Shri Rang Lal Jamuda to visit the vidyalaya on 10 Nov 2009
- Shri Gurunanak Dev ji’s Prakash Utsav was celebrated on 31 Oct 2009.
- Grand Parent’s Day Celebrated on 24 Oct 2009 in the vidyalaya with fervour and enthusiasm
- Deepawali celebrations on 16 Oct 2009 to generate awareness of avoiding crackers & spreading the spirit of brotherhood and peace.
- Mirza Ahad Baig of class X of this school is first position holder of Chandigarh Region in KVS Junior Mathematics Olympiad 2009.
- Wild Life Week celebrated at Chatbir Zoo during Oct 2009. School won First prize in painting & quiz competitions.
- Hindi Pakhwara celebrated in September. Different activities and competitions were organised in the school to mark the fortnight.
- Counselling of students on do’s and don’ts regarding H1N1 Flu conducted by health officials from 3-BRD, Air Force Station, Chandigarh on 8-Sep-09
- Mrs Honey Arya, Primary Teacher of the school has been awarded National Award.
- Six students of our school got individual prizes in KVS Youth Parliament held at KV-2 3-BRD, Chandigarh on 18 Aug 2009.
- Independence Day was celebrated with fervour in the school on 15 Aug 2009. A cultural programme was also held to mark the occasion.
- Principal, Mrs S K Bhatia was entrusted with the prestigious responsibility of hosting the Regional Principals’ Conference of KVS, Chandigarh Region from 20 to 22 July 2009.
- Annual Academic Inspection of the vidyalaya was held on 16 July 2009.
- The school organised training from 6 to 8 July 2009 of Master Trainers for Adolescence Education Programme Project from KVS Chandigarh and Jammu Regions. Students of classes XI and XII also participated in an interactive session with the participants on 7 Jul 2009.
- Students of classes XI and XII attended a talk on Stress Management by Col Guru, at LECMA Hall, AFS, 3-BRD Chandigarh on 26 June 2009.
- Second Level Training Programme for non–matriculate employees of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanathan, Chandigarh Region was organized from 15 May to 29 May 2009. The Training was inaugurated by Assistant Commissioner Sh. U. N. Khaware. Sh. R.B. Meena, Education Officer was also present. 29 employees of Chandigarh Region participated.
- On 30 May 2009 Written, Oral and Performance Based Test of 129 employees of non-matriculate employees was conducted. Valedictory function was held on 30 May 2009. Mr. K L Anand, Education Officer, awarded the certificates to the participants.
- Annual Day Celebrations on 27 Apr 09 - Prize distribution and cultural programme were held to showcase the achievements of the vidyalaya.
- To mark Earth Day on 22 Apr 09, Poster Making competition was held in the vidyalaya.
- Fire Safety Week in Apr 2009– BRD officials came to the vidyalaya and addressed the assembly regarding fire safety norms and demonstrated the use of different types of fire extinguishers.
- Induction of class I and ceremonial welcome along with interaction with parents on 06 Apr 2009.
